How simple can life be to still be enjoyable - how much technology do we need to feel truly cozy, comfortable and happy. Happiness needs time to enjoy love and love from others to be enjoyed. Happiness only can be enjoyed when we feel truly comfortable and safe. Simple life is a far better environment to be happy than a high tech life. A simple house called our OWN often is better than a mansion in a city. However a certain degree of high quality technical tools and help makes us more comfortable and helps to be more time efficient to finally have the leisure time needed. Only technical goods of highest quality are truly helpful - most of the truly needed and really useful / helpful tools are of simple nature and have nothing at all to do with the high tech machinery on today's global market.

The key to success in simple life is to fine tune the balance of simple life and truly beneficial technology

Too little technology may mean using up all resources for purely basic needs of life - leaving neither time nor life force for joy of life. Too much technology may destroy the natural resources of this planet as is done in most countries nowadays leaving no healthy and clean living environment for future generations.

The golden balance is in-between the extremes. Being involved in technology - but only technology serving most directly the quality of life and communication between cultures as well as exchange of truly needed goods among nations.

Much of today's technology serves to control mankind, to observe mankind, warfare or the application of political power over nations rather than purely humanitarian causes. Mankind needs to grow stronger and self dependent, i.e. free of dependence of governments and authorities, free of employers and hierarchies - to finally be free and strong on the basis of love and wisdom.

To achieve such divine goal in maturity thousands of years and millions of additional lessons are needed. Most important of all, all changes have to come from within. While wise leaders may inspire - the acceptance of a change or different life style needs to come from each individual. The modern ease of travel into other worlds and cultures makes such inner changes and inner maturity processes more and more easy and affordable. Modern technology of free information exchange makes decision making and learning of new ways of living easier and affordable to most of today's population. By freely and openly exchanging experiences and by giving deepest true insights into different cultures and traditions people can compare the different styles of living, styles of governing as well as the results in quality of life. On an ultimate level of measuring quality of life the only final factor is true human happiness and hence the flow of love among all members of the entire society

The divine way of living already exists but needs to be accepted by all on a free voluntary basis. Before a new way of living can be accepted many lesser positive as well as a few truly dark and painful experiences are needed in many cases to initially create a basis for comparison. to know is something is better than earlier methods you first need to have experienced earlier methods of various kinds - then you have a basis to compare and make a final judgment or decision toward future methods to use. Until the ultimate loving method of living and being is found and commonly accepted by all - one by one will mature at his time when the number of various experiences among all extremes and lesser extremes are completed and a final essence result in readiness and maturity to accept the divine way of living as the most loving and only one to make all happy at the very same time and for any extended period of time ...

 The greatest luxury and most precious we needed is ... water. Drinking water and water for our daily showers has been brought by boat to us from the nearest well in the village.

There would have been enough ground water around the house for our own water-well - but no one but us used the house for the past years - hence no need to build another well here.
